what is the litter letter project?

The Litter Letter™ Project is a proactive community outreach effort designed to address litter concerns through education, accountability, and collaboration. When litter issues are identified, letters are sent to property owners and businesses to raise awareness and encourage timely cleanup and ongoing maintenance. Our goal is not only to reduce litter, but to inspire community pride and shared responsibility for keeping Akron clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

how can i get involved?

Get involved in the Litter Letter Project™ and help keep our community beautiful! You can make a difference by doing your part—start by not contributing to litter on the ground and encouraging others to do the same. There are many ways to get involved:
