Event Checklist: Keep Akron Beautiful 35th Anniversary Party


We are only one day away from the Keep Akron Beautiful 35th Anniversary Party! Are you ready? Take a look at our event checklist for things you might have forgotten.

Tickets will not be on sale at the door! That means all ticket purchases can be made through today, August 30, 2016. The cutoff will be at 8:00 am on Wednesday August 31, 2016. Tickets are $35 each. Remember, we won’t be issuing physical tickets for the events. Include guest names because there will be a guest list at the door!


The party will take place at the Akron Art Museum at the new Bud and Susie Rogers Garden. The event will be primarily outside in the garden, however there will be access indoors in case it rains.
The Akron Art Museum is located at One South High  Akron, Ohio 44308.

Valet & Parking
Free valet parking will be available at the High Street entrance of the museum.
Free parking will be available at the parking garage located across the street from the High Street entrance.


Event Schedule
A brief snapshot into the evening

5:00pm – Check-In & Registration
Swensons Truck & Beverage Stations Open
50/50 Raffle Sales Open

5:30pm – 6:00pm – Trolley Tours
Tours last approximately 20 minutes. Departing from the museum, guests will tour to some of KAB’s Flowerscapes, guided by KAB Flowerscape crew.

6:00pm-6:15pm Welcome
Captain Daniel D. Zampelli, Board Chairman – Keep Akron Beautiful
Jacqui Flaherty-Ricchiuti, CEO – Keep Akron Beautiful
6:15pm – 7:15pm – Trolley Tours
Final tour of the evening.
7:15pm- 50/50 Raffle Winner Announced

Food and Beverage
The Swensons Food Truck will be onsite offering menu favorites. Dessert is provided by Mustard Seed Market & Café. Pepsi products, beer and wine will be available.
All food and beverage are included with your ticket purchase.
