    Nominate your neighbor!         

     
    Every July, volunteers from Keep Akron Beautiful canvas Akron neighborhoods looking to give Beautification Watch Awards to owners of individual residences, businesses and institutions who keep well-maintained front lawns and set examples of beautification in their communities. Guidelines used for considering these awards include the following four criteria:
    • The property should be litter-free
    • The property should have well-maintained flowers, shrubs and/or trees
    • The property should be free of weeds
    • The property should stand out from its neighbors

    The Beautification Board of Keep Akron Beautiful established this award in 1983 to recognize individuals of organizations and businesses who consistently work to keep their properties clean and beautiful.
